Navigate targetting Carapinhal, Figueiro dos Vinhos

By car from Bordeaux:
Bordeaux (France) – Biarritz – Spanish border – San Sebastian – Bilbao – Burgos – Valladolid – Salamanca – Portuguese border (Vilar Formoso). Direction Guarda (IP5/A25).
At Guarda take the IP2/A23 direction Guarda Sul/Covilha/Portalegre. At Castelo Branco keep on the IP2/A23 direction Lisboa/Abrantes. About 25 kilometres past Castelo Branco, take the IC8 direction Pombal/Sertã/Proença-a-Nova, take exit number 18 (Serta – Pedrogao Grande – Ansiao – Pombal – Coimbra – Tomar). Follow this road until road N236-1 to Figueiró dos Vinhos ESTE/zona industrial. Follow Figueiró dos Vinhos , past disco INOX. In Figueiró dos Vinhos go straight on the first roundabout direction Centro de Saude. Straight past the post office (Correios) and then take the first road to the left (there should be a bank on your right at this point). Follow this road until you the end and then take a left. On the roundabout with a fountain, follow the direction Foz de Alge (campismo) and go right. Beware, this is a different campsite! At the next roundabout, take the third junction in the direction Carapinhal/Fontainhas. Follow this road until the village of Carapinhal. In Carapinhal follow the road, You’ll pass a school on the right-hand side and the paved road will eventually become a dirt road. At this point, follow the signs Quinta da Fonte for another 1,5 kilometres.

By plane and rental car:
The campsite is about 2 hours by car from both Lisbon and Porto.

By car from Lisbon airport:
Take the A1 Norte and follow the highway until the junction Pombal, Ansiao (IC8). Follow the IC8 until Figueiró dos Vinhos (N237). Now, see route description above.

By car from Porto airport:
Take the A1 Sud direction Coimbra and then the A1 until junction Pombal. Take the IC8 direction Ansiao and then the junction Figueiró dos Vinhos (N237). Now, see route description above.
