Campsite and Rooms


Campsite Quinta da Fonte is situated on a half-hectare parcel of land. The campground adjoins a small, crystal-clear stream. You are free to choose your own camping spot in consultation with Liedewij or Jolein. Parking facilities are available on the lot close to the main house. Sanitary facilities are located in the main house and the adjacent buildings and are kept to strict standard of hygiene. Hot showers are provided free of charge. The campsite( 15 tents) has tent spots near the small brook. There is a small field accessible for small caravans and campervans, also electricity available there.
Don't you have any campingear, or don't want the hassle of carrying it around? We have tents and gear for rent!

Rooms for rent are located in the main house and feature access to the terrace. These clean and simple rooms provide ample space for your clothing and come equipped with a bed, duvet, pillow and mosquito netting. All rooms feature a view of the valley. Guests are advised to bring their own linen. Sanitary facilities are located on the lower floors.

Warm Weather Fun:
On hot days, please feel free to refresh yourself in small natural swimming pool located on the campsite. It’s perfect for an invigorating dip in clear spring water. More ambitious swimmers as well as fishermen are welcome to use the man-made lake located 4 kilometres from the site.

Dining Room & Library:
In the former ‘adega’ (wine cellar) you will find a comfortably appointed dining room to enjoy dinner when the weather does not allow dining on the terrace outside. There is also a small library where both books and games are available to be checked out.

Restaurant and Bar:
Our cook, Liedewij, will prepare dinner every day. You may register in the morning if you wish to be included in the evening meal. Dinner will usually be served on the terrace, weather permitting. Should you have special needs or wishes concerning the meal, you are welcome to discuss these with Liedewij in person. Needless to say, she will strive to accommodate your dietary needs. For vegetarians, there will be a special, vegetarian-specific, meal prepared. The dinner menu will be announced each morning, so that you may decide your dinner plans in advance. We use as many biological products from our own gardens as possible.

Breakfast lunch and dinner are on offer. On the terrace, guests are also welcome to enjoy a drink, an ice cream or whatever their snack of choice.

Extra:
As an extra service, we offer a small but thorough assortment of staple foods available in our campsite shop. Should this not be sufficient to your needs, you may arrange with a member of staff to retrieve any desired items from the neighbouring village.
